Short version: this site is built so there is almost nothing to have a policy about.

The checker

The disclosure checker runs entirely in your browser, in JavaScript, on your device. The file you select is read locally and parsed in the tab. It is never uploaded — there is no server endpoint that could receive it — never stored, and never shared. The ad copy you paste is processed the same way. Close the tab and both are gone. The interactive checklists and calculators in the guides work the same way: your answers exist only in the page, only while it's open.

Tracking

This site runs no analytics, no cookies, and no third-party trackers. It loads no external scripts, fonts, or pixels. The pages you see are static files served by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages), which — like any web host — may keep standard connection logs (IP address, time, requested URL) for security and operations. Outbound links marked with UTM parameters are ordinary links; the parameters only become meaningful if you click through to a destination site, whose own privacy policy then applies.

The contact form

The contact form is currently a placeholder: it stores nothing and sends nothing, and says so when used. When it is connected in a future update, this page will be updated first with what is collected and where it goes.

Changes

If any of the above changes — an analytics tool, a connected form, an account system — this page changes first, with a date. Last updated: 26 October 2026.
